Dubai International Airport launches Smart Gates Eligibility Checking Service

Dubai Airports has launched a new Smart Gates Eligibility Checking Service aimed at improving passenger navigation at Dubai International Airport (DXB). This service allows travelers to confirm their eligibility for using Smart Gates before they reach passport control, thereby streamlining their journey through the airport. Passengers can access the eligibility check through the Pocket Flights app or via QR codes located throughout the airport. This pre-verification service was developed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA), ensuring a seamless integration into existing airport operations.
