Saudi Arabia localizes energy recovery device manufacturing for water desalination

Saudi Arabia has announced the localization of energy recovery devices manufacturing, a significant step in its water desalination industry. The factory is expected to begin production in the first quarter of 2027, with 40% of its output directed towards markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Africa, and Asia.
