Saudi Arabia's customs authorities thwart over 1,100 smuggling attempts in recent crackdown

Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority reported successfully foiling 1,131 smuggling attempts across various customs ports, including land, sea, and air. This extensive operation resulted in the seizure of a wide array of illicit drugs, weapons, and prohibited materials. Among the confiscated items were 118 types of narcotic substances, 402 prohibited materials, and 2,478 tobacco products.
