Sharjah becomes first Arab Guest of Honour at Warsaw International Book Fair 2026

Sharjah has officially opened its participation as the first Arab Guest of Honour at the Warsaw International Book Fair 2026. This historic event is taking place at the National Stadium in Warsaw and runs until May 31, 2026. The theme for Sharjah's participation is "Two Civilisations. One Language of Letters," which emphasizes the significance of cultural dialogue through literature.

The fair features over 1,200 cultural and professional activities, including discussions, poetry evenings, and workshops. Notable dignitaries attended the opening, underscoring the event's importance in promoting cultural understanding. Sharjah's pavilion spans 400 square meters, showcasing the diversity of the UAE’s cultural landscape.
