Saudi students win eight awards at international science competitions

Saudi students recently excelled at two prestigious international science competitions, winning a total of eight awards. They secured four awards at the International Chemistry Olympiad and four at the International Biology Olympiad. The International Chemistry Olympiad took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from July 10 to 19, 2026, while the International Biology Olympiad was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from July 12 to 19, 2026.

The students' achievements included two silver and two bronze medals in chemistry, along with one silver medal, two bronze medals, and one honorable mention in biology.
