ADNOC signs 15-year LNG supply agreement with Japan's INPEX

ADNOC has finalized a 15-year Sales and Purchase Agreement with Japan's INPEX for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Ruwais LNG project. This agreement entails a commitment of 1 million tonnes per annum, marking a significant step in reinforcing the energy partnership between the UAE and Japan. The deal was announced during a visit by ADNOC's leadership to Japan, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration.

The Ruwais LNG project is set to commence commercial operations in 2028, positioning ADNOC to meet international demand effectively. This agreement highlights ADNOC's capacity to supply LNG while aligning with INPEX's strategic vision for flexible LNG supply.
